ICOP 2022

New date for ICOP: April 22 – April 24, 2022

Due to the Corona virus, ICOP 2020 was postponed to April 2021. Because we cannot be sure about future developments within our country, we have made the decision to postpone the ICOP event until April 2022.

The new date for this event will be April 22 – April 24, 2022. The location will be unchanged.

Interested in ophthalmic photography, ophthalmic imaging or medical and biological illustration? Attend ICOP2022! ICOP, the International Conference on Ophthalmic Photography, will take place April 22 - 24 2022, hosted by The Rotterdam Eye Hospital and the Dutch Ophthalmic Photographers Society, in the beautiful city of Rotterdam, The Netherlands!

The long-established tradition of ophthalmic imagers, optometrists and physicians from around the globe coming together to share their expertise, exchange ideas, and build community at ICOP educational programs is continuing in this exciting meeting.

ICOP2022 is intended for anyone who is involved with ophthalmic imaging: photographers, medical imagers, optometrists, ophthalmologists, physicians. Presentations will cover a broad area between technology,  pathology and the intersection between these two. 

ICOP2022 will take place at the S.S. Rotterdam, an antique cruiseship, and promises three full days of lectures and scientific papers presented by international speakers from all over the world.


Registration will be available around mid 2021.


The ss Rotterdam is a luxurious ship, moored in the centre of Rotterdam. As a former ocean liner it has recently been renovated and refurbished according to the highest standards. As the former flagship of the Holland America Line, ss Rotterdam has sailed the seven seas. Discover La Grande Dame’s many stories and visit its authentic areas.
